主人とは死別しています。亡くなった後、どうやって子供を育て生活していこうかと不安だらけでしたが、スルシィの仕事を得ることが出来、本当に感謝しています。Ma’am Satomiの苗字、Sekiya（関谷）をもらい、孫（娘の子供）にSekia-mae（セキヤ メー）と名付けました。仕事をもっと増やし、早く家のリホームをしたいです。バレーボールの地域チームのメンバーです。
Mina （ミーナ）

ロザリオに住んでいる編み子さんたちの責任者です。カルカルの工房と密に連絡を取り、ラフィア糸の手配から編み方の指導、出来上がりのチェックまでしています。3人の子供を育てていますが、全員自分の子供ではありません。この村には仕事がないので、スルシィの仕事は家でもできるし、皆さんやりがいを持って仕事をしています。こうしてみんなが働けるのは本当に有り難いです。
Milyn （ミリン）
サラグサ在住
40代で孫ができましたが、4人の子供の一番下はまだ学生です。ヘルスセンター（保健所）で働いていましたが、孫の世話のため辞めました。スルシィの仕事は、孫の世話をしながら家でできるので助かっています。モーターバイクをローンで買いましたが、スルシィで働いてローンを完済しました。私も主人もカラオケで歌うのが大好きです。主人はlumber（木材を切る仕事）をしています。
Mhey （メイ）

以前は、丸台紙に付けるお人形を主に作っていましたが、今では何種類ものバッグを編めるようになりました。バッグを編むようになって、出来上がりがすごく楽しみにもなりました。スルシィで働きだした時は子供が2人でしたが今は5人になったので、これから今まで以上に仕事をし子供たちに少しでもいい生活ができるようにしたいです。テレビでドラマを観るのが楽しみです。

前にトレーニングを受けたのですが、当時は3人の子供が小さく続けることができませんでした。今は子供に手が掛からなくなり、姪の面倒もみながらスルシィの仕事が出来るようになり、頑張っただけの収入を得ています。主人は村の議員をしているので、小さな村にスルシィが仕事をもたらしてくれていることに主人ともども感謝しています。ありがとうございます。

主人はモーターバイクのドライバーです。私はスルシィの仕事の他に、時々学校の食堂でおやつなどを売っています。スルシィの仕事は分業ではなく、一つのバッグを全部一人で作るところがいいな、と思っています。やっぱり出来上がったバッグを見ると自分ながらよく出来たと嬉しくなるからです。これからも一つひとつ丁寧なバッグづくりを心掛け、精進していきます。

家の周りで女性たちが集まって楽しそうに編み物をしているのを前からよく見ていました。カーペンターの仕事は毎月コンスタントにないし、編み物が仕事になると聞き自分も編んでみたくなりました。最初は照れ臭かったのですが男性も受け入れてくれるというので、基礎から教えてもらいました。まだ編めるバッグの種類は多くないのですが、早く何でも編めるようになりたいです。

母子家庭なので、高校、大学生の時からスルシィでアルバイト的に仕事をずっと続けさせてもらいました。学校で必要なものや小遣いはアルバイト代で賄うことができ、とても感謝しています。卒業してからはスルシィで働いていますが、お世話になったことを忘れずにこれからもスルシィがどんどん大きくなるのを楽しみに仕事を続けていきたいです。韓国のドラマにはまっています。
Lydia （リディア）

今、義理の母（Cita）の家に間借りしているので、近い将来小さな家を建てたいと思っています。節約を心がけ、主人と協力しお金を貯めています。主人はホテルの電気工なのですが、仕事があるときしか呼ばれないので、私も頑張って働いています。義母と一緒に住んでいるので、子供を見てもらったり、編み方が分からないときは教えてもらったり、とても心強いです。
Lulu （ルル）

主人は、チャッピー（バイクに幌付きの対面式座席が付いた乗り物）のドライバーなのですが、今までチャッピーを借りて営業をしていましたが、ローンで自分のチャッピーを買いました。このローン返済もあるし、これから3人の子供にお金もかかります。私も主人も病気持ちなので薬代も必要です。もっと働いて収入を増やしたいです。妹のAyengもスルシィで頑張っています。
Lucille （ルシル）

スルシィ工房のあるカルカル市の刑務所に4年近く入っていました。収監されている時にスルシィのElisa が通ってバッグの編み方を教えてくれたので、収監中もスルシィのバッグを編んでお金を得ていました。 編む技術を得られたことはとても大きく、出所後はスルシィですぐ働き始めることができました。編み子さんたちもみんな温かく迎えてくれ、今はみんなと一緒にバッグ作りができとても幸せです。

主人を数年前に突然亡くし、スルシィで一生懸命働き子供を立派に育てることが主人に対して胸を張れることだと思い頑張っています。サンプル作りも任せられているので仕事も増え、やりがいもあります。4人の子供たちの学業を中途でストップせずに、上の二人を大学まで通わせることができたことは本当に嬉しく誇りでもあり、スルシィには感謝しています。Em-emとは親類です。

主人を病気で亡くし、7人の子ども(双子もいます)を育てています。姉のTataがスルシィでバッグを作ってお金を得ているのを見て、私もスルシィで働き始めました。編むことが好きだし(お料理も好きです)、 スルシィで働く事は自分に合っていると思っています。仕事をしている間は母が子供たちの面倒を見てくれているので助かっています。こうして仕事を得て子供たちを育てられることに感謝しています。

以前は家で子育てをしていて外にでることもなかったのですが、今はスルシィでバッグの編み方を覚え、働いて収入を得ることが楽しくて仕方がありません。これから子供たちの教育費も掛かるので、もっと仕事がこなせるよう、早く先輩のように何でも編めるようになりたいです。趣味はガーデニングで庭の手入れをすることが楽しみです。増えた植物は友だちにあげて喜ばれています。

工房のあるカルカル市の郵便局に勤めています。いつも日本へバッグを送るのを見ていて、スルシィにはとても興味がありました。近くのセントラルスクールでトレーニングがあると聞き、スルシィのバッグを知ることができるチャンスだと思い参加したのが、スルシィで働くきっかけです。編み方がたくさんあり、本当に編み物は奥が深いと思っています。昼間は郵便局での仕事があるので、家に帰ってから編んでいます。

Nanetにスルシィを紹介してもらいました。スルシィで働くようになって1番よかったのは、以前はお金が必要なときは主人にその都度理由を言ってもらっていましたが、自分で稼いでお金を得るようになってからはそれがなくなり、子供たちの物も買ってあげられるようになったことです。主人から少しは自立出来たようでそれがとても嬉しいです。子供の教育にもお金を回せるようにしたいです。

子牛と子ヤギを育て大きくなったら売ってお金を得ていましたが、今はヤギ2頭だけなので家畜の世話をちょっとしながらスルシィの仕事に専念しています。子供たちにはちゃんと教育を受けさせてあげたいので、ずっとスルシィで働いていきたいです。高血圧なので、食事に気を付けています。これもスルシィで働くようになり余裕ができたので、食事にも気を使えるようになりました。
Denisa （デニィサ）

以前は靴工場でパートで働いていましたが、今は誇りを持ってスルシィで働くことができ幸せです。OEMのサンプル作りも任せられているので、やりがいもあります。2016年にはスルシィで働いたお金で家の改築をしました。4人の子どもは全員結婚し、孫も4人になりました。料理が大好きで、家族は私の手料理が一番と言ってくれます。スルシィが大きくなることを願っています。

ちょっと身体を壊し、3年間休んでいました。今はすっかり良くなり、スルシィの仕事に精を出しています。主人は日本人が経営するイングリッシュスクールの寮生の料理を長年作っています。主人も私も仕事があるということは、とても恵まれていると思っています。有り難いです。地域のバレーボールとバドミントンのチームに入り、活躍（笑）しています。踊るのも歌うのも大好きです。

大学へ入学したものの、お金が続かず2年で中退してしまいました。子供は2019年に2人目が生まれ、自分のような二の舞を踏ませないように大学で勉強をさせてあげたいです。以前はガイサノというモール（スーパー）でレジ係をしていましたが、今はスルシィの仕事にやりがいを感じています。主人は地区のpoliticianで、母のCencia、姉のCeciliaもスルシィで働いています。
Clarita （クラリタ）

編み子さんの中で私が一番年長の1941年生まれですが、まだまだ現役で働きたいと思っています。長年パートで地域のヘルス・ワーカーとして働いてきましたが、2020年に引退しました。娘のBelもスルシィで働いていて、孫は何と18人もいます。以前内職で、輸出用の靴の飾りをかぎ針で編んでいたこともあり、編み物が大好きです。スルシィで若い人たちと一緒に働くことができて幸せです。

妹のBebeもスルシィで働いています。子供は2人、孫が6人いますが、主人とはもう30年以上前に結婚を解消し別々に住んでいます。給料は貯めて、孫の教育費と大雨が降ると家に水が入ってきてしまうので、床を上げる費用に使いたいです。私も一番最初からのメンバーで、それが誇りです。小さな雑貨店をしていたのですが閉めてしまったので、また再開したいです。

7人の子供がいますが、みんなそれぞれ家庭を持って独立しています。孫の世話や洋裁の仕事（服のお直し）もやっているので、毎日何かしら手を動かしています。スルシィで収入を得ることができとても有り難いですが、スルシィで働いている娘のCecilia、Cleofeもスルシィには感謝しています。家族で3人もスルシィにはお世話になっていています。ありがとうございます。

子供が5人いるので、スルシィで得たお金は食費に消えてしまっています。以前は、nativeのスナック（バナナを油で揚げたバナナキューなど）を作って売っていましたが、今はスルシィ一筋です。主人は大工さんですが、時々炭を作りレストランに卸したりしています。母のCencia、妹のCleofeもスルシィで働いています。スルシィで今よりもっとバッグを作り稼ぎたいです。
Cecil （セシル）

2人の子育てで2年間のブランクがありますが、またスルシィで働けることに感謝しています。バイクを買いローンで毎月返済していますが、これもスルシィで働いているから出来ることなので有り難いです。息子は学校でチェスの代表プレイヤーなのが自慢です。クッキング（フィリピン料理）が得意ですが、料理の他、バドミントン、水泳など、身体を動かすのも大好きです。

前にトレーニングに参加したものの途中で止めてしまいました。個人でネイリストの仕事をしていたのですが仕事が毎日あるとは限らず、スルシィに戻ってきました。快く私を受け入れてくれ有り難いです。娘もスルシィで働きたいと言っているのですがまだ子供が小さいため、今は私の仕事を手伝いならが編み物を覚えています。テレビのドラマを観ながら編み物をするのが好きです。

主人はサッカーやバスケットチームのユニホームを縫っています。時々私もミシン掛けを手伝ったりもします。母（Clarita）がまずスルシィで働き始め、母の紹介で編み物のトレーニングに参加したのがスルシィで働くきっかけです。以前は母のところから貰い水をしていたのですが、スルシィで働いて水道を引くことができました。趣味は野球（自分でもプレイします）と読書です。

姉のCitaと一緒にスルシィで働いています。独身なので、Citaの家族と一緒に暮らしています。ぜんそくの持病がありますが、スルシィで働くようになって薬代を心配することが少なくなりました。将来は今住まわせてもらっている姉の家の改築を手助けしたいです。私は一番最初にトレーニングを受けたメンバーで、スルシィで働いていることが誇りです。

子供がいますが結婚せずにパートナーと一緒に住んでいて、地域のYouth Councilのチェアマンをしています。Youth Councilor（青年村会議員）の立場からも、スルシィが私たちの村の主婦たちに仕事をもたらしてくれていることにとても感謝しています。趣味は、バレーボール、ダンス、歌を歌うこと、料理です。バレーボールは村のチームに入っていて試合にも出ています。
Babie （ベビー）

スルシィの仕事の他に、近所の子供のベビーシッターや洗濯を請け負っています。主人はトウモロコシの収穫時だけしか仕事がなく4人の子供を育てるのは大変ですが、スルシィの仕事はいつでもどこでも出来るので、時間を有効に使ってバッグをたくさん編んでいます。バレーボールの地域チームに入っていて、他の地域のチームとの試合には選手として出場しています。

障害を持った娘と一緒に暮らしています。パートタイムでヘルスセンター（保健所）でも働いていますが、娘の世話をしながら家で編み物ができるので、スルシィの仕事は有り難いです。分業ではなく、一つのバッグをきちんと仕上げることがやりがいにもなっています。主人はトウモロコシ（3ヶ月毎に収穫）を作っているファーマーです。主人の作るトウモロコシはおいしいです。

女性たちに仕事の割り振りと商品・在庫管理、QC（品質チェック）、サンプル作り、プロファイル管理、Em-emの補佐など、多岐にわたって仕事をしています。いつもベストを尽くして仕事をすることを信条とし、自分がマネージャーとしてやりがいのある仕事を任せてもらえることにMa’am Satomiに感謝しています。月に2回は刑務所へ行き、収監されている女性たちにバッグの編み方を教え、出来上がったバッグのチェック、工賃の支払いもしています。 プライベートでは2人の息子がおり、毎朝飼っているヤギと子豚のエサやりから1日が始まります。マッサージとドレスメーキングのライセンスを持っているので、時々スルシィのミシン掛けの仕事もしています。趣味は、踊ることと歌うことです。“Lord thank you for this new challenge” that I never expected!
Em-em （エムエム）
Executive Director
工房の諸業務、経理、編み子さんのことなど事がスムーズに運ぶよう、現地の動き・実務を一通り把握し対外的な事も含め経営全般に携わっています。みんなをまとめるのは決して簡単なことではありませんが、とてもチャレンジングでやりがいがあります。これからもっと地域女性のために雇用と仕事を増やし、海外にも販路を広げたいと思っています。 プライベートでは2人の子どもがおり、2012年に生まれた娘にはMa’am Satomiの苗字Sekiya（関谷）からSekiyah（セキヤ、愛称はキヤ）と名付け、Ma’am Satomiにはgodmotherにもなってもらっています。趣味は、音楽鑑賞、料理、踊ることで、特にズンバは先生並みに踊れると自負しています。10年前には、自分がこのようにトップに立ちみんなをまとめるなどと考えたこともなく、全てはma’am Satomiと一生懸命にバッグ作りをしているパワフルな女性たちに感謝です。Sulci is the second family for all of us!
